**Official 2008 Buffalo Bills thread**

Hey check out that line at the top of the screen that should read: “Official 2008 Buffalo Bills thread

yes if u read what i wrote that said THANK YOU RAIDERS its because the jets lost and they are in our division therefore it benefits us the 2008 Buffalo Bills

OK OK, haha. I’m just fucking with ya anyhow.

The Bills shut up the shit talkers today
Bring on the fish!

i love how everybody on the sports networks are saying how the chargers lost cause of injury’s… the bills never get credit for anything they accomplish

http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm267/dobermans152/bills.gif

it was SO funny to see the NFL Today sound like idiots when the bills won, when they all were like “chargers will win no doubt about it”, esp shannon sharpe

I’ve been thinking that too… we get no press, “NO RESPECT!”. But then I decided that its better to be under the radar anyways.

I was impressed with the way that they stepped up yesterday as a whole. The O line, the Def, and the subs… While there is always room for improvement the team really seems to be gellin.

I LOVE that the O line stood in there and gave trent time to do the do. I’m sure they spent two weeks reviewing how his injury was their fault.
The secondary is still too slow, but we’re getting great production & coverage from the LB core. I’m raelly happy that Mitchell is showing so well. I was very happily surrised with the acquisition and expected he’d be a good’un, but he’s gone way aboe that IMO. He is almost always where he needs to be.

I’m gonna go ahead and say that I was too much of a negative nancy and have to revise my “best possible outcome” from 9-7 to… 12-4.

Looking at the schedule I’m gonna say 10-3 + 3 tossups games.

Honestly though, I think that we are seriously looking at taking the AFC east. We need to keep doing what we’re doing.

  • :tif: 8 Oct 26 BUF @ MIA 1:00 PM - their O will be hard to contain unless without McGee & Schobel.
  • 9 Nov 02 NYJ @ BUF 1:00 PM - pressure favre and win.
  • 10 Nov 09 BUF @ NE 1:00 PM - in NE against a Pats team coming off an Indy loss
  • 11 Nov 17 CLE @ BUF 8:30 PM - duh.
  • 12 Nov 23 BUF @ KC 1:00 PM - duh, again.
  • 13 Nov 30 SF @ BUF 1:00 PM - I could see SF being an upset, but doubtful.
  • 14 Dec 07 MIA @ BUF 4:05 PM - it’s dec, Mia will be worn down and we’ll be rollin.
  • :tif: 15 Dec 14 BUF @ NYJ 1:00 PM - JETS coming off a couple of wins, but favre will be cold, and old.
  • 16 Dec 21 BUF @ DEN 4:05 PM - Den coming off a tough Car game, at mile high. We will NEED the D Line to contain the pass to win this.
  • :tif: 17 Dec 28 NE @ BUF 1:00 PM - NE trying to lock up a playoff spot & coming off a win @ home.

Let’s be honest, they haven’t exactly had that rough of a schedule, and are still 0-0 in their Division. Why should they be heralded as the next coming at this point in the season?

They lost to the Cards, and haven’t really beat anyone of mention with the exception of the Chargers who have been a disappointment all year and the Jags who have been lack luster. The wins have been close.

Maybe if you win the next 3 games without any drama, you can start complaining about lack of credit, but my guess is at that point they will be getting plenty of chatter. Even then, at this point in the year, the record seems to be more a byproduct of the schedule . The Bills aren’t league leaders in offense or defense. They have played consistently and won. A win is a win in the NFL and no games are freebies, but its not like they have been out dominating and are expected to breeze through the post season at this point in time.

bahahahaha O will be hard to contain???

wtf are u smoking, they contained the best O in the NFL yesterday without those 2 and Miami is nowhere near the chargers.

stop making excuses, dont u have a baseball team to watch…ohh wait YOU DONT they got beat by the rays.

you def sound like a typical NE fan, excuses coming out of every hole in your body.

No need, you’re absolutely right.

The divisional games are VERY important expecially since all three of those teams have the capability to beat us. Neither Miami nor the J E T S are lay down teams, obv.

Jacksonville was a decent team to beat, particularly on the road. But, to be honest, we didn’t win that game the way we should have. We stole that game.

The MOST INCONSISTENT O in the NFL.

Even the resident charger fan bois will admit that. Oh, wait, Miami BEAT THE SAME OFFENSE while having a MUCH weaker defense then the Bills. Hmmm…

Not too mention miami taking apart NE. Miamis O is dangerous especially when you consider how slow our secondary is to read & react.

Hows that bandwagon going for yah Kev? :stuck_out_tongue:

Says the guy who’s team couldn’t even make the playoffs. Good to see the bandwagon trolling hard in response to an OT post. :blah:

you bandwagon guys are probably the same people who overturn cop cars and set fires after superbowl victories

hah.

Honestly, I hope we tear down the goal posts. :eekdance:

if we get that far

In the NFL in 2008 any team is a threat, theres no such thing as an “easy game”
Look at St Louis the last 2 weeks

I guess the Bills are just “lucky”

ah well, we just need about 4 or 5 more “lucky” games to make the playoffs

In all honesty though we must be real “lucky” this year, in fact the “luckiest” season since 1995, the last time we were 5-1

I guess most of you guys are too young to appreciate that

I graduated highschool in 1995 so let me just say as a Bills fan from way back I consider myself the “lucky” one to have the opportunity to enjoy this season

nah, it’s not “luck”, we’re a solid team. My point is that we still have weaknesses, as pointed out in my “list”.

I don’t think ANY team in the NFL can survive on luck.

go bills
