Edwards would be good with a supporting cast, you probably can deal Evans for two GOOD slot receivers, a la Welker, that would help Edwards. Hell deal Evans for a Slot and a OL. Edwards does not have the arm to utilize an explosive down field threat, he also doesn’t have the pocket presence to stick out an 8 man rush. He needs a team that doesn’t stack the box and leave man to man because of lack of threats down field.
you mean that if we win out and miami, jets, and patriots lose out we cant make the playoffs?
lol.
well, looks like JP gets the start sunday against the jets. also schoble foot is sore after practice. do we realy need his high paid ass?
bah, this is frusterating. lynch accepts the blame for the running game but we all know its realy not his fault. This sucks…
This is sooo annoying. It seriously gets harder and harder to be a bills fan year after year of failure. This year seams to hurt the worse after such high hopes in the beginning of the season.
Ralph wilsons old ass doesnt realy seam to think that dick jouron is a problem either. He says “we just dont have the talent”. I realy dont think its 100% about talent in todays NFL. I think its about good coaching and schemes and using your players to the there best potential. Talent plays a big part obviously, however talent doesnt put your opponants in a stale mate when play calling. If the opposition knows your plays or “lack of” they are gunna make the most talented players look like jv football squads.
is he on cracK? i think we have a TON of talent. we just can’t put it together
You never need talent to win with a good coach…
look at the mighty ducks. emilio took that team from the pond and they beat the hawks with a triple deek
…and you’ll never guess who I saw. Emilio Estevez.
And I was like, EMILIOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
[/Roxbury Nights]
If jauron could manage the clock we might have had a shot. oh well, theres always next year.
the main problem is all the money into the offensive line for marginal players…when they signed dockery and walker to those contracts the first thing in my mind was how much of a waste it was…and they’ve yet to prove me otherwise! the offensive line was a problem before they were signed, and still is
i don’t see how dockery was at all a waste, he was solid ALL year.
The line is not athletic enough to move enough for a power run game. They never move side to said to blow up holes. They are overpaid fatties.
i think they invested in the line for pass protection which we have gotten. However trent and jp sit back there patting the ball forever and get sacked. i think the pass blocking has been OK however the run blocking is non existant.
Yeah I’d say that for the most part, JP and Trent are given a good amount of time to work with. So the O-line isn’t TOO bad. At least when Trent is playing well, he makes good use of it.
However, like 2turboz said, They just don’t seem to work too well with the run.
I will agree with myself again…I was just thinking about watching the endzone views of some good running teams…where they move an entire D line toward one hash mark or the other and get a big pull to one side and on tackle will fly around and level someone on the complete opposite side of the line…I dont think the bills could do that with their fat fat fatties.
yep, they don’t get enough push… for how big they are and for how much $ they make, this should not be a problem. think of how many 3rd and short situations where we SHOULD be able to run for the first down, but either can’t or have to pass because of the lack of confidence in them. thats a game changer right there
Don’t forget the USA Ducks who he lead over Iceland in the Junior Goodwill Games.
ITS KNUCKLE PUCK TIME!!!
It’s amazing how in that movie they were able to sneak the black kid into a set of goalie equipment during a timeout while nobody noticed. Is this the Sabres or Bills thread anyways?
we can make our own mighty ducks thread.
with charlie conway and julie the CAT!
