If motorola can fix their bootloader situation I might look into them again but until then I am going to stay with this phone, it has been the best phone I have had (OG Droid, Droid x)

It’s my work phone so it doesn’t see nearly the use my Nexus does.
Got sick of waiting for sprint’s OTA of JB. Manually forced the update. Go to apps, then all, then look for Google Services Framework. Clear data and force stop, then go to About phone, system updates, you will notice it says last update 1969 or something dumb like that. Hit check for update, I had to do mine like 3 times for it to update. Be patient, it will eventually hit.
Already done that like 1,000 times on my GSIII…still nothing.
Finally got my Nexus where I want it.
Not sure how much screen time this is, but i think it was around 1.5 - 2 hours…
With GPS/wifi/4g on all day. Plus I have push for twitter, facebook, gmail etc.
this method only works if the update has been made available your phone meaning you would have gotten the update in a few days anyway
well yeah, sprint. verizon lagging behind as usual anyways, thought that would of been a given.

lol whatever you do, don’t try the Official MIUI rom, at least not for the vzw galaxy S3. For one, it’s so unstable it should really be an alpha. For two it seems to have permanently corrupted my network settings. The official thread on XDA says nothing about caution, but like halfway down the page there’s a long explanation about how to attempt to restore your broken shit but you’ll probably have to try to get a new phone for verizon.
Why this was released to idiots like me is anyone’s guess, but don’t fucking use it.
