yeah i used to use vzw’s janky visual voicemail. it sucked but was better than dialing into it.
I will give this 6-7 months and then decide if I like it.
I have a feeling I will go full circle and back to the iPhone.
Almost positive that that is a paid add on isn’t it? Same with those fucking ring back tones.
It’s like, $2/month to use Visual Voicemail on Android. The app is free. With a phone bill greater than 180/month, what’s another 2?
Impatiently waiting for the 4.6+" iphone to be released and I’m out of this buggy shithole OS.
I still can’t justify it. Yeah it’s $2 but Verizon’s apps suck so bad it’s not even worth $2.
I also managed to get my bill down from $180 to 160 with my work discount then to 153 with the share everything plan.
Google voice, and in recent calls if you hold down over a ph # it offers add to reject list.
It doesn’t have that feature in kitkat on nexus 5 for standard calls
The other option I have is create a contact and set the contact to auto redirect to voicemail and then just add a bunch of numbers.
I get a lot of random sales people calling
Ah yes, I remember now, I think i created a contact named DNA and set the ringtone to silent.
They have a few apps that do it however they’re buggy on kitkat.
It’s just a stupid basic feature a lot of phones have now and its odd they leave it out.
So I actually got Visual voice mail working with Google Voice I thought it was built into the dialer I didn’t realize its completely separate app.
If you follow Google instructions it setups up forwarding but there isn’t a place to select google as the voicemail provider in the dialer app until you install google voice.
I should never have put kitkat on my gs3…cant wait for the new phone to be released. Such is life.

It’s time for a new phone and could use some help. I want something with a big screen and long battery life.
I use about 15GB of data every month so it needs to be fast loading video, browser etc…
I’ve always had android so I’m thinking the note 3 would be good, but open to other options that are similar.
I can wait if something is coming out, but my phone is 2 years old and showing it lol. Oh it has to be Verizon phone. Thanks
Note 3

^similar requirements, but i dont care to have a huge screen. I want it to comfortably fit in my pocket with a case, battery life is my main concern and resilience. (my phones typically go through hell and now that I have the boat and am into water sport, Id imagine they’re really going to be abused.
I wish the s4 active’s features were in every phone. (minus the sealed battery)
s5 coming out soon, april i think.
Yea. That’s probably going to be it. I just hate the way they keep getting bigger. Well see how the battery is
S5 is water and dust “resistant” but I’d probably never but another Samsung phone unless it’s a nexus

S4 active is not a sealed battery. It’s the same removable one as the regular S4.
