The caps indicates if you’re on the Blackberry data network… the lettering indicates network connection on the Verizon network. To make is simpler, if you have CAPS anything you’re on Blackberry data as well, if it’s lower case you’re just on the regular voice network connection with Verizon. If it’s lower case; email and other Blackberry/RIM network dependant BB features are NOT available to you at that time. Hope that makes better sense.
I’m going with VZW. The tech had me pull the battery while she was doing something with the switch, popped it back in a few mins later and I was up and running.
I’d agree on VZW side, especially if you are in an area that is known to get the data service. I always hated calling them no matter what the issue was. I don’t mind AT&T but we have our own personal account manager since it’s a business and makes things a billion times easier.
114 - the absolute DUMBEST, PIECE OF SHIT ACCELEROMETER code EVER.
This fucking thing thinks it’s in landscape, like, all the time.
Other than that, it’s pretty good. It’s fastish, does everything (BT video, takes pics, videos, without issue), and hasn’t rebooted on me at all. But seriously - the fucking accelerometer is a joke.
OK so I get to upgrade next month and I’m torn between taking the red BB pill and staying with my Samsung WinMo phones that have treated me so well. The one thing I know I can do with BB that I can’t with WinMo is sync with my Lotus Notes calendar at work. Otherwise it seems like there’s a ton of stuff I do with WinMo that I can’t do with BB.
