ruff told them the day they played the penguins that for the remaining games treat them as they were playoff games. so they have the mindset started already
You dont piss off the last 2 games before a playoff. You dont just turn on the “playoff mode switch”… it takes a few games. You have all these other desperation teams that have been in playoff mode struggling to make the playoffs for the past 5-10 games. We havent been in playoff mode since a year ago. these desperation teams prolly wont make it far in the playoffs (fatigue will catch up) , but they will make a tuff first round for us for sure.

You still play hard. As far as i’m concerned (lindy too) playoffs have started. its not just about mindset either, momentum is important as well. At this point in the year, you cant just sit guys cause you’re worried that they might get hurt. Its go time.
