I think I would make a good color commentator. my only problem is i never played for the bruins, so I wouldn’t have that to reminisce to whenever anything anywhere near relating to boston is brought up

its only preseason
was a good game last night from listening to it. Even though Jenarette is good and calling the excitement of the game, it’s still hard to follow whats going on all the time when playing cards or something.
can’t wait for the regular season

Big deal we lost briere and drury, there is still a large part of the team in tact. I think stafford will be playing a key role this season maybe on a 2nd or 3rd line. Lets see how the preseason ends an how many rookies wind up on the amerks list. 2 players dont define who a team is

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Tim Connolly broke a third-period tie, and Derek Roy and Dmitri Kalinin had a goal and an assist each to lift the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night in the preseason finale for both teams.
Connolly scored the winner with just under 6 minutes left, knocking a rebound past goalie Marc-Andre Fleury after Fleury stopped Kalinin’s shot from the left circle.
Jason Pominville also scored for the Sabres (4-2).
Maxime Talbot and Colby Armstrong each had a goal and an assist, and Sergei Gonchar also scored for the Penguins (1-3-2).
Roy entered with a NHL-leading 11 preseason points, and finished with 12 points in his last three preseason games.
Sabres goalie Ryan Miller made 14 saves.
The Penguins held out Sidney Crosby, who closed the preseason with seven points in three games. Mark Recchi, Petr Sykora and Gary Roberts also sat out.
Connolly and Kalinin, who have been bothered by groin injuries, both played in the preseason for the first time.
