me too. i had a lot of hope for him. im sure he’ll pick it up.
He’s a rook, but I think hes gonna be great. We’ve already seen some flashes of what hes capable of. 
i’m not disappointed with vanek. he’s 3rd on the team in scoring with 16 points. as long as he’s helping put up goals, i don’t care if he gets 3 or 30, total points is where it’s at.
and tim connolly, not only an offensive threat, but a defensive force in the making. if he starts hitting, it’ll be like having another peca, but better.
i agree, i think vanek is a great playmaker and really plays the puck to give the best possible scoring chance. It doesn’t matter how the puck finds the net just as long as it is.
its good to see us bounce back after that skid we’ve had. We might actually see playoffs this year.

Dude what do you mean connolly is not an offensive threat? He makes excellent offensive plays, like just seen with the hecht goal. BUT he is not a hitter and never will be.

Anyways, I never said I was disappointed in Vanek, I was just responding to Jon’s comment about how everyone with the potential is starting to play to what they are capable of. Vanek has not. But im damn excited to see what he can do when he has more time on the ice. Can you say Jagr? 
knowing reiger he will trade vanek for a 5th round draft (at the trade deadline) and then vanek will go on to score 40+ in a season for another team.
