as big as tonights game is, it won’t determine the rest of the season. Hopefully they won’t pysch themselves out before the game. And i hate the fact that i have to work tonight. This sucks

It look like Buffalo may need to buy a Thank You gift for Boston. First they beat Ottawa in a shoot out and then Carolina??? And we beat them just last week… i say we owe them something (not a win though!)

Too many penalties. They aren’t playung like themselves. Miller kept this game under control though. It really should have been worse. Still plenty of time to tie it up though.

the loss sucked but it could have been so much worse. ottawa looked like they really thought out their game plan. they shut down every aspect of our game that we excel at and usually beat teams by doing. the 3rd was a nice turn around, and i think if we played the whole game like that we easily would have won. think about it, ottawa scored on a 5-3PP (they had like 6 of those) and a 2-1 breakaway, i’m not upset about that. every team should score like that.
We made a game out of nothing, i look forward to the next 15 games, and especially the 3 against these guys. we just won 8 in a row, you can’t win every single game you know.
I was worried that an 8 game win streak against mostly chump teams might have left us a little soft. Ottawa showed Buffalo what it’s like to play a real team through the first two periods. By the time Buffalo understood that there just wasn’t enough game left to catch back up. I think given 5 more minutes they would have won that game.
