The jury may think that but I would guess the govt may think differently.
What bothers me is not that she was found not guilty to murder, but rather that she got off on the aggravated child abuse charge. She claimed that is was an accidental drowning and that she helped cover it up, and she also claimed that a “nanny” had taken her daughter. In both instances there was some sort of negligence that could be proven that could endanger the welfare of her daughter. Why wasn’t this charge also included as a “just in case” charge/
Yeah that was kind of my point. Maybe there wasn’t proof of murder but how much do you need for child abuse, neglect, etc?
Should have charged her with everything. Neglect, abuse, murder, manslaughter, endangerment, possession, speeding, libel, slander, DWI, public lewdness.
Charging someone with a specific crime, placing the burden of proof on the prosecution, assuming a person’s innocence unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, conclusions based on evidence not public outcry and media portrayal… It’s all so… constitutional. Ick.

At this point it’s not a matter of if, but who will pay her big bucks for the exclusive interview. I’m guessing Oprah and her new struggling network.

If I ever get to the point in my life where I consider this crap entertainment and spend any more than 1-2 mins analyzing it, shoot me. Preferably in the head though, because at that very moment my life is about as useless as it will ever be.

OMG WHERE IS GEEHEE!!! I have ranted about her so many times and we used to live with a guy that watched HLN all the time. 
Oh and I have no real opinion on this case as I didn’t follow it. I didn’t even know the trial was over. Anyhow my 100% ignorant opinion is that she did it. How about that for being American. haha
Yeah the whole country wanted to see a hanging and is outraged. We really haven’t progressed since the middle ages.
