I liked it actually…
From all the hype/speculation it seemed as if it came directly after the first one.
However from watching it there are 2 points that give you a timeline that it is not directly after the first.
- When selecting the Skyline(s) he mentioned he has wrecked them before.
- Also there is a mention of it being 5 years after the original.
AND
Obviously left it open for F&F5 because as mentioned before on the spoiler VD was in custody and obv in Tokyo drift he is not.
and they also mentioned in the police station when he beat the shit out of that other cop that he was on probation or something like that and one wrong move and hes out again. it absolutely takes place after the second
I saw this last night and i liked it alot. Definately better then the last 2.
It doesn’t add up because it takes place AFTER 2f2f, and before TFATFTD time line wise.
im pretty sure this one takes place after all of them. The scene when there sitting in the cafe talking jordan brewster says its been 5 yrs. If this is supposed to be the 2nd then that would mean they were all like 80yrs old in the rest.lol
it takes place before tokyo drift since han was in this one and when they said he needs to lay low, he mentioned about going to tokyo. He died in tokyo drift. so it takes place after 1 and 2 and before 3
