I love it. But you know what the most annoying part is? (I have hte chinese version) my 900 degree driving force pro (that I absolutly HAD to get for obvious reasons) doesn’t even work on my PS2. It cuts in and out and randomly stops working.
I want andrew to come over and see if its just my PS2 or if its the wheel. I hope its just the wheel fuck
I picked up my “reserve” copy today at lunch…which is BS because EBgames has stacks of them in store. Anyways, I’m dying to go home and play! I heard a rumor that you can import some of the cars and cash from GT3 Aspec if you saved 'em to a memory card …has anyone tried this yet?
anyone have a mod chip, cause i bought the game but it wont work on my ps2, anyone having similar problems
Edit: nevermind she just needed some persuading
Lol, I thought it was too much? I’m getting snap over steer in a big way.[/quote]
With the wheel I think its pretty accurate, with the controller I’m almost as good as I was in GT3. The wheel’s force feedback was a little too strong for my taste, but since it was chinese i dindt know how to adjust it. Plus it kept messing up almost every corner, so i got fed up after like an hour of playing with it.
ronnie just never move the stick all the way to the right when you countersteer right away, go like half way then adjust from there, also as soon as you feel the car starting to straightne out you need to move the steering to the centre, since moving the wheels to thecentre is not as instantaneous as GT3, I think thats why you’re finding yourself tank slapping?
Okay before I was not able to counter enough, traction control was still on.
Now I took it off and the problem is tankslapping as ronnie says…
To get the drift started you really have to jerk the wheel, then you can counter, but when the car comes back the other way, it comes back pretty
hard, and its almost impossible to not loop it let alone not tank slap.
iQuA got to Gtplanet.com, tehy have a forum dedicated solely to gt4 drifting, they have all you need even some vids to get a feel for how it looks, check it out
OIHlsgh9pw83q4hjrI*&^I@# H@#98hq432l,!!!1 I friggen love this game. I just played it for almost 4 hours tonight (just got it) and i must say, i never knew I would be this impressed with it. The car sounds are much better, and after you get used to the handling i find it much more fun than GT3. The body roll in the in-car-view is also a nice touch.
And the model cars. Wow! Soon ill be like Nomuken!!! just gotta shrink myself.
