Official I decided what I am going to buy thread

Great guys down there. Anything they are selling will be top notch. I was friends with the crew that started Tick before they had a shop. Great guys!

nice car but too $$$$

whats wrong with a car being on the west coast. so what, it lowers your budget a grand to cover shipping, or fly out and drive back

nothings wrong with it, I have been looking into cars out of state (IL, TX ect) and have no problem shipping a car, I bet the left cost is more than $1000 these days with gas prices…

ill sell ya my 98 eclipse for 7500 and youll have another 6500 to spend getting it from 12s to 11s

see post #34, thanks though

I had a shipping quote done for a M3 I was looking at from fl to wa and it was $1520 to give you an idea. BTW I would sell my car for a good deal right now if you are interested. No lowball shit but for fucks sake in the last three years I have put on 6k miles and made about 10 passes. I just dont have time for it right now. :frowning:

well as long as you understand 13-14k means 13-14k not 15-16k like alot of people seem to, 2-3k is alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$

Didnt mean to seem cocky btw, it was 4am and I was about 3 beers away from finishing an 18 pack

I have $13,700 cash in hand

Just buy my camaro. 1984 was in the trader the past few weeks. 1984 Silver camaro. AFR heads, 10.5:1 comp, went 12.1 at 114, with a 2.1 60ft! on the motor. Carb isnt tuned yet, once you get a better 60 it’ll be a mid 11’s car on the motor, with 125hp in the bank on the spray. Car is ready to go. Just figured id offer it. $7000 takes it, you’d have alot of other money left over. It’s in great shape. Let me know.

Thanks for posting the old thread. Thats it.

Okay I have narrowed my hunt for a car down to 2 cars in particular and I am going to buy one of them

Option 1- http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9648120#post9648120

Option 2- http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=945409

Both are built, ones a A4 (which I prefer) the others a M6

Both would be aprox the same price, either of them will be a worthy addition to the local trailer park

Opinions?

2nd one, already built and your basically getting the car for free as he said.

1st one, already blew a motor? shows he didnt take care of it, was probably beat on. but it is 5000 less.

i would go with the 1st car if you have the money

The asking price on the white car is $12,400, the silver car is $14,000

Are you gonna keep the car for more then 3 weeks?

Patriot heads :tif:

That other one already has a built motor

haha yeah I am intending on keeping it for the rest of the season at least
