:roflpicard:
Joe and I are shitting up the Blackberry thread with AT&T/Nokia talk. Mods want to pull that out and put it here? No? Come on!
Anyhow…
So can you get your company’s online discounts in person like you can with Verizon?

I’ve never tried, but I heard price matching to the Premier website was up to the individual store and had mixed results
Sweet! 4 people on NYSpeed with Nokia / Symbian phones, lol
In!
5ppl???
List your phone / service provider: E90 / T-Mobile
*BTW, Symbian is on more phones that just Nokias, but I think there would be even less people here with those phones (Sony Ericsson, etc.)
E71 / AT&T not that faggy e71x shit
What’s the difference?
e71x = AT&T neutered e71
OIC. Maybe I’ll take some time to read about the difference, but I doubt it’ll be anything worth paying more than the $49 I can get the E71x for…

And I think Spam16v mentioned a way to unbrand it and get it back to the way it was intended. Service providers always mess things up with the performance it seems, so I’d go for the unlocked / unbranded version if you can.
Also unbranded E71 qualifies for $10 data out of the box without pulling the SIM swap.
I’m actually using a Blackjack II for the time being but I’m a Nokia 3600/6620/6682/N75/N95 veteran. Waiting to get a decent deal on an E75 or maybe N97…
For reference, my first Symbian device:
I have $2.99/mo unlimited data on T-Mobile :snky:
I’ve been with them since the Voicestream days though.
What are everyone’s thoughts on Maemo possibly replacing Symbian all together? http://maemo.nokia.com/
Linux-based, open source, no more Symbian-signed, and from what I hear even more rock solid of an OS… which would be hard to beat since my Symbian phone has only locked up 3 times in 3.5 years.
The N900 is sweet, but I’m holding out on buying one until I know what Nokia’s next flagship E-Series will be.
I’m curious about Maemo…I’d like to check out an N900 once they have a 3G north american version without having to buy one for $1000 or whatever they launch at
I don’t pay for my phone otherwise I’d be more interested in the cheapo plan but I purchased the unbranded model so that I didn’t need to sign a contract. I purchased it when my BJII died. Some things i liked better on the BJII, I’m still learning Symbian. I’ve had my phone do a few retarded things but haven’t had to do the regular reset like I did with my BJII.
E72 is due out soon, which is why its easy to pick up an E71 cheap these days. I prefer this form over others but the e71 isn’t a huge upgrade, just some good solid fixes. It is such a solid phone (physically), that is what really impressed me.
All versions of the N900 will have US 3G. One of the forums I’m on has a great preview here: http://my-symbian.com/other/preview_n900.php
Launch price is only $650, which seems super low and also leave me to think they have something sweet in the works for the E-Series lineup.
My buddy just upgraded from the e71 to the n97. He had always proclaimed the e71 to be the best phone he had ever had (quite a bit bigger phone junkie than I am) but seems to be rather happy with the n97, just don’t like that form factor.
That USA 3G only works with T-mo. That preview is great and makes me want to try out an N900 even more, but wouldn’t be a purchase option til it works with AT&T
Is there an option or 3rd party way to get my tasks and calendar on the home/today screen on a Symbian phone? Similar to this?
Sybian > Symbian
