Yes quite a bit. We handle there business mobility side, but our office has there contract world wide out of london. They do more in Europe than they do here.
Nokia’s US marketing is about as qualified as that chinese kid. They are the anti-Apple.
Shitty product, amazing marketing, vs. great product, no marketing.
lol. Palm can’t catch a break. Apparently the Pre can act as a wifi hotspot for up to 5 devices, but VZW is going to charge $40/mo for the privelege.
You can do it for free on some phones, mine included. http://www.joiku.com/?action=products&mode=productDetails&product_id=310
fuckers shouldnt be leeching service anyways.
Yup, but the problem is Nokia phones in the US are dumbed down pretty much. We do a lot of advertising, but its more for business to business in the US. The advertising in Europe for Nokia is huge.
It’s not so much that they’re dumbed down when they get to the US, the carriers do it to them and put all of their shit on there instead, since Nokia doesn’t get the pull with them that RIM or Apple do. If we could get them to actually subsidize stuff directly off NokiaUSA we’d be in great shape. Instead we get the N75 and E71x :picard:
Yup, and the N900 is a bad ass phone, just not worth owning here.
not with shitty Tmobile 3g and EDGE anyway, especially for full retail
Fry, quit using wired headphones with adapter jacks and pick up a set of bluetooth headphones (A2DP.) I’m sure you’ll notice a quality difference.
Who uses wired headphones anymore other than Apple people?

i actually still use wired headphones too.
Yeah I’m going to try to find my wife’s old curve and see how the SQ compares to my Nokia. I can ignore the fuzz when listening to an audiobook, but I like to listen to classical music at work so I can still think but it blocks out distractions and the noise is so bad I can’t even listen to a lot of stuff.
Jeff does ingram have any GSM BB’s that could disappear for a small fee? :snky: Speaking of which, I never did anything with that 8830. You should take it downtown. You could probably get a chick to blow you for a free phone.
Can’t stand all the noise on this thing, plus all the stupid shit AT&T locked down. Open box E72 on newegg for $307. I might just pull the trigger. I could always sell the damn thing at a profit on ebay if I don’t like it…
Sorry, the days of seed devices being plentiful are gone.
WTF. No one can figure it out.
“The Symbian Foundation kicked off a weird promotional campaign recently, with a cryptic countdown that started at 108. The number has since dropped to 61, 49, 48, 36, and finally 29 today. You can keep up with the countdown at http://countdown.symbian.org, and if you view the page source, they’ve changed the hint inside a few times to keep things interesting.”
:gotme:
Hello Kitty???
“The more you click, the more unicorns and rainbows appear. What the Michael Hell?!”
Someone else noticed this:
“If you do over kill it can look like this (LOL):”
Damn. Oh well. I’ve still got a hard on for the e72 and my birthday’s coming up and it’s $359 from Nokia now. $349 shipped from Newegg. We’ll see how much the wifey likes me…
Thread here. Nobody knows. I stopped giving a shit about Nokia announcements when their big announcement was free turn by turn on Ovi maps. For 10 devices. Not in the US. :cjerk:
OT: My e71x has dust under the screen. :feck:
