No issues with trailering, just make sure you have your papers.
The lamest rice fest in WNY? SWEET!

i’ve offed the car pretty hard a couple times… no contact, but it’s dragged the front end down a bit.
there is a mounting point on the upper rad support that needs to be bent back and rewelded… plus i’ve removed alot of the bracketry and shit behind there for the FMIC etc… car weighs under 2900 with gas and driver…
feels pretty light on it’s feet on the track too.
I enjoyed it.
Good time out there. Glad I went up. Definitely fueled the bug to get some sticky tires and head out there. I’d like to thank Mike in the roush for that. lol
It was the shake down runs for my buddies car. First time the car has been out in 3 years. He’s got a lil list of issues to fix but that car corners so well. Toward the end of the day, according to his driftbox, he pulled off a 1:12:9 with a major boost leak. The week before that at the cscs event, he had ran a 1:15 in his DD srt-4.
Just the basic registration and insurance crap?
Was talking to my dad about it and he said that when he would go up there drag racing (this was like 30 years ago) he’d have to get paperwork from the track to get through. Of course stuff has changed by then and I’ve never heard of that but figured I’d check.
Just bring the reg for the trailer and the reg for the truck and the reg for the car. If they are not reg’d to you just explain that they are reg’d to a family member or whatever and you should be fine.
LOL Yeah we had a free booth there, but we’ll prob end up at dunnville instead.
I just figured it was for more downforce on the front
That’s damn quick. What car was this?
The neon. lol
Wow, it didn’t realize it was moving that quick. Nicely done…
Odd as I didn’t see it pass anyone all day, only be passed. As I stated in the restroom at Dunnville doesn’t sound right. The 350z runs 12.9-13.5’s and I’m willing to bet that Neon isn’t anywhere near that.
It wasn’t till his last run out that he achieved that time. All day long he was blowing turbo piping apart. I was in the car at the end and witnessed the time appear on the driftbox. Definitly said 1:12.9. The week before he was racing in the time attack trials for CSCS and ran a 1:15 in his DD srt-4. So I would think a completely gutted chassis, with the same motor, race coilovers, and stickier tires could shave off 2 seconds. :gotme:
So uh, anybody notice if my front rotors were glowing at the end of the front straight? Aparently they got kinda hot…
What’s with these extra slots in my rotors?
And where’d the heat paint go?
Pads look a little toasted too
:fry: Time for brake ducting!
Race coilovers? Which ones? Stickier tires? That’s generic. Well if it was on a driftbox post up the data for us all to see.
oh noes rich?!?!
Thanks again mpd for goin out for a few laps with me, definitely helped a ton!
Wow Rich, that sucks. You would think the CR brakes could handle a little heat. Is that something you can contact the dealer about? After all… it is the “Club Racer.”
Saw that car… it didnt happen.
1:20.XX is the track record set by Sasha in Dave Brigg’s S14… previous record held by Jim Kutschke who with the Black FD that was with us on saturday… his CSCS time was 1:21.XX that sasha beat.
1:15 is not attainable…
OK i made a mistake… i was thinking CSCS TMP track, not Dunnville, however Tee Davis was 1.16 at Dunnville at the CSCS event… which is actually a pretty serious time for a fwd car.

records here: http://cscs.ca/content/view/78/118/
what makes me sooo mad is that i didnt drive at the CSCS dunnville time attack and my class winner did it with a 1:20… i tun in the 1.14’s at dunnville… fuck that shit
D2s I believe? Tires, ??? idk not my car. Data from driftbox??? I don’t own a driftbox so I don’t even know what data your talking about besides each lap time.
He was just looking for a chance to get the car out and get it ready for the next CSCS time trials. He stayed longer then he wanted to just to verify his times with the timing system there but obviously that didn’t work out. After Cassie helped him set the driftbox up, it seemed to be working accuratley though.
But regardless I’m done speaking about it, maybe he’ll come out to the next one and there will be a working transponder system to get back up data from. For now we can go back to talking about how the 350z is only capable of those times
