Carbotech race pads and DBA rotors, I think the dealership would laugh at me. 
I definately exceeded the temperature range of the rotors.

Shit… I forgot to look at the color stripes on my DBA’s when I put my street pads back in. If I have time maybe I’ll pull a tire tonight and take a look.

FYI, D2’s were the worst coilover available up until Godspeed came out last year.
i’ve owned maybe 7 sets of D2’s and used to be a distributor for them… utter garbage in all senses of the word.

The problem is a little more than heat, its bad design. The short outer slots in those rotors are a bad stress riser, you can see the cracks are right down the center, you would be better with a good blank rotor like stock, no x-drilled no slots
+1 My rotors have been glowing on plenty of occasions, never failed/cracked like that though
s2000 rotors crack - known issue…
