I never participated in AJ’s…I posted in here in hope that there was some sort of clarification. How long are the races?
From what the first guy i was talking to said, its 1 practice, 1 qualifier, and 1 40 minute race that is based on finishing position. The description their seems to be a little different though saying its all based on best lap times. I’m going to email scott directly in a little bit to try and get some more/better information as to what exactly the 300$ gets us…
IT was supposed to be that, plus free pizza/monsters/arcade (which this should still be).

I have Karate Wed nights but could double up on Monday nights for the duration of this. If it’s like you said Hortanica then I’m probably game.
When I was there last week the manager said they are going to
Do 2 leagues at once on different nights. I hope once this fills up the next league is on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

If we can get 10 people to do it from this forum alone, we should be able to get them to give us another night. They sent that email out to a lot of people, we should try and start a new thread or poll to find out who can do it and what day would be best.
*edit. Thats actually why I am kind of hesitant on signing up now, I’d rather not get thrown into a group of complete randoms.

I saw people there last month racing…seems very expensive to me…I did not race…maybe one day…I miss AJ’s…
I’m pretty sure the 300$ isnt ‘normal racing’. In the email and link, they state its “almost a 20% discount”.
Their pretty much just giving us their “Package 2” from their site, but for over a 20% discount. (95$ *4 weeks = 380$, we pay 300 which is a 21% discount)

Go to the bottom and im 99.9% sure thats what were getting as it lines up with exactly what I was told, and whats shown. Just poorly worded. not 3 normal shitty races. Ive emailed for confirmation though. HOpefully ill get something back soon.

This is the email i got back, turns out I was wrong (except for the last race):
The races are all 14 laps. the final night of the league we are going to do an endurance race which will go for 30 to 45 min with kart swapping. If you have 10 ppl we can do a private racing event with just you’re group with the same format. Let me no what dates would be good for you’re group. Let me no if you have any other questions.
Do we want to just get 10 people in and do the 90$ ‘grand prix’ package on a date we choose?
Bump. It’s getting close and figured why not. I’m paying to race might as well make sure I’m racing good people. There are still a few spots open I guess…
