It’s all stock for now, just ordered the blacked out front and rear emblems and once I get some more miles on it I will get the stage 1 tune. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good VW tuner shop?

Went for a cruise with Shifty and a few other guys on saturday. Got a few decent rolling shots.
Jason got my S4 reflashed for GIAC stage 2 and he was great to work with. I’d lean towards GIAC over APR myself.
This is probably a question for the Audizine crowd but what sold you on GIAC over APR?
Did you fab up a front cross member? How are you going to mount the front bumper?
I think those 3 bolt C-style mounts on each side of the intercooler are where the bumper/crash bar subassembly bolts in.
That is a beast looking build.
Exactly that. The bumper also screws in at the fenders, or clips, I forget its been a while since its been on. :ham:
And yeah, I made two supports that tie in together. The mount the intercooler, radiator and the oil cooler, they really tighten up the front end.
Are you modifying the bumper support, or fabbing a new one? I didn’t think there was enough room behind the stock typ89 bumper for an intercooler.
Now that I think of it, this is a 1.8, right? you probably had room to move everything back.
