Looking forward to ripping 4th gear heaters on slicks again this summer.
Do you live or work in the village of Hamburg? I see the black wagon parked off Legion drive all summer.
dat old man winter setup is sexi boi
Yup, that’s correct. R32 is parked there all the time as well.
I love those volvos. Such different looking cars.
 play boi!
Yea man, pretty fun to drive too. Drove it back from Norfolk, va in November for her. Comfy, quick and 30mpg
I think you guys were out there smoking weed or something when I drove by last summer. I also think you ran it at Thunderdome once or twice too, no?
false. Mikes cobra is extremely clean as well
LOL. No weed smoke. Just some cold beers from time to time

that cab is rad.
ive secretly always wanted one and i dig the d90s and ecodes
Thanks bud! <3 haha I love it. It’s a really cool convertible. As much as Corinne (and I) love the look of the Porsche wheels it will just be easier and more convenient to sell them in favor of a non-staggered setup. Another VW enthusiast will enjoy the d90s much more. So once the car is back home, they’ll officially be for sale.
As for the headlights, passenger side gets condensation in it quite often so instead of trying to fix them, they may be replaced.
Does your Gf’s 2 have a racingbeat axleback? I think I met her at the Ralph during autocross, I had to hear what it sounded like in person. Now I can’t wait to rip my stock exhaust out.
Yes it does! I gave it to her on her birthday last year!! I remember her telling me about a guy that wanted to hear her exhaust haha I was amped! She was having trouble at times “hearing” the car’s shift points after she had just bought it/learning how to drive it. I figured putting a little more noise to it may help. So I weighed the options of Corksport for $400 or Racing Beat for $265. Racing Beat could be installed in 5 minutes without a jack and I figured we could always add a CS midpipe to it later. And the RB tip looks better in my opinion (and hers after she got it)
Looking back I wish I would have spent a few more bucks and got the full CS system for her since they wont sell me just the midpipe, but the RB tip looks better. One day Ill take it to mufflerman and have them make a midpipe for her to give it a little more attitude haha Unless you get the CS system and wanna sell me the midpipe lol maybe we can figure something out ![]()
Trying to get her into some auto-x with it this summer. Figured it’d be a great way to bond on a Sunday afternoon and also increase her driving ability. Driving stick has really taught her how to be a better driver, be more alert and know cars better. It’s been awesome. Just ordered a CS short shift plate for it, but its backordered until Tuesday. Looking to get some lowering springs and sway bars for it this spring. Go Kart status!!!
