Official road bicycling thread?

Note to self when I need tires. Mine are just showing wear, might rotate them in a few… lol.

Next ride, 7am, EA scammer lot, outside along the trees in the Tops/old Jubilee lot across from Monroe. Be there, be square, Myself, Jager, & Krant are confirmed as the usual suspects as of now. All are welcome, skinny tires req’d, however leg shaving is not.

My rear tire looks like a flat top hair cut turned into a tire. I honestly think there is a 90 degree angle where the sidewall meets the tread. I always tell myself after I spend $120 on 2 freaking bike tires “I’m going to rotate these to reduce wear on the rear.” Never freaking happens

fml, might be juggling my schedule teaching for NCCC and coming in early on sunday, so I may ride Saturday. Jager’s out for saturday, Krant’s in he said. So it may be Sturday, or it might change back to sunday by the end of today once I call them and see what’s up sunday.

You call them and tell those fuckers you have a ride with a big tall asshole and he won’t take no for an answer. I’m in for Saturday and Sunday so just let me know.

gotta be @ NCCC @ 8am… beats dealing with heatstroke, wimps. Saturday is it for me. le sigh

Thursday 5:45 group ride out of EA behind tim hortons if anyone is interested. I’m riding to EA from west seneca if anyone wants an extra twenty miles.

Also planning on riding this weekend, pussed out last weekend due to funeral, wake ect commitments.

how long are these rides… i usually average between 20-30miles when i go out but im always down to do more or less…

Haven’t touched my road bike all year :frowning: I rode it 20 miles each way to work last summer though.

The last one was a tick over 20 to keep the group alive due to ability levels. We had a girl on a hybrid who wasn’t last put it that way. She does spin w/me regularly, so it was only the bike holding her back but she survived. I ride from hom so i put almost 50mi on last week on the Thursday ride.

Enough sand bagging then, sack up & pump up the tires fggt. Be a man.

Haha. pretty sure the tires still have air. I’ve been riding my mountain bike a lot but I think I might still try to get some miles in

Have to make sure they’re up to snuff every ride. Little tires and high pressure… Group ride was small, Quattrokrant and I departed West Seneca, met up with another five and headed out for a hill ride. 52 miles door step to door step, 19mph avg speed says my speedometer. There’s a Century ride sunday out of Elma towards Lewiston if anyone wants to really sack up.

Quick jaunt out to the in-laws for dinner, met the wife there. Didn’t realize Savage road was a legit cat3 climb, I felt pretty good going up it, wasn’t flying, but wasn’t welcoming death either. I did the XC ski loop on skinny tires too if you zoom in real close, 2 miles on 23x700c tires @ 120psi, I was passing fggts on mtn bikes though, that felt good.

Cock and balls.

Gotta love riding in March in shorts and a jersey. If you want to hit up some different roads Jeager, give me a buzz.

lolz @ Blkg60 as a user name. Almost as ghey as my 16v reference I still have. Ugh, I gotta get out here in the next day or two. Running tonight with wifey, running tomorrow with John, might try to sneak out in the morning for a few miles after I lift before work.

riding in a jersey is important to attain maximum douchebaggery.
