Official Shift Truck Thread; Woodchuck big bodiez ITT

My truck has all the options you just mentioned including rear radio w/wireless head phones. Not all big trucks are dumpy interior. Not gonna argue though cause I like that you’re calling Waynes truck dumpy :lol

Diesel VS. Gas is the new Ford VS. Chevy.

F U Frank.

YOTA CAT DIESEL WHERE UUUU AT

Only problem I see with diesel, at all… Is the cost of the truck.

wanye whats your opinion on the new ford eco-boost?

I’m not Wayne, but I have two friends that have one and they fucking love it.

PJB and Wayne want to go ATV riding at MOAB. 2190 miles away, or 4380 round trip.

PJB tows 4x8 trailer, gets 15mpg.
Wayne pulls his quad on a 25’ car trailer (becasue he can), gets 20mpg.

PJB burns 292 gallons of GAS
Wayne burns 219 gallons of FUEL

PJB spent $1007.40 on the trip out and back.
Wayne spent $876 on the trip out and back.

Wayne brings along TDI_Logic and Pete has a boner the entire time over the $131.40 they saved. BUUT, wayne sees a blown up Tdi Golf for $1800 and buys that on the spot.

Therefore PJB wins becasue he only spent $1007.40 on the trip with his F150 Gas truck, and wayne/pete spent $2676 on their trip out in his F350 diesel.

:rofl

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl literally ROLLING over here.

The worst part is that it’s probably the most plausible story you’ve ever posted.

It’s just like anything else. If you buy it right there is money to be made.

TBH I have no experience with one. I’d love to see and drive one and live with one for a few months to see ya know.

I can say that any small 4cyl diesel would make that thing cry uncle HARD. a 4cyl diesel (minus my silly 2 stroke shit)in a 1/2 ton is going to get you close to if not over 30mpg.

Yep.

On the long list of “what we want to build” at CRC is a C10/20 2wd pickup with a Duramax swap. Or even a 4BT. Both wicked efficient motors. Later being less powerfull but way cheaper and easier to find.

A 4BT C10 could be built for around $10K starting with a clean chassis/body. Tune and minor bolt ons it would pull a house down traction dependent and get you better mpg than most sedans on the road.

I started reading this thread last night and fell asleep.

I would not have towed my 27foot cabin cruiser with anything less than my duramax.

I would not have even attempted pulling some of the equipment/materials with anything less.

I have had the duramax for about 6-7 years now and it has 160k on it i still love it as much as the day i got it. Still get 23-24mpg.

Wayne and i use to tow our quads around in a f-350 with a 5 yard dump trailer. :lol

hahahahaah fuck yes we did!!! I miss those days brother!!

Well obviously, the problem is circled on the grill. Stop by the dealership sometime and check out an LTZ silverado, they’re fuckin pimp.

On a side note the shoe string gangers corolla is a sweet whip.

Yah I’m not really looking to flip one…id love a duramax to daily.

i’m just saying that the initial cost to purchase doesn’t mean shit if there’s equity built in when you buy it.

AND IM TELLING YOU THAT FUCKING MATH IS FLAWED

GM trucks have the best residual value in the US market. Whatchu talkin’ bout, Willis?

My Corolla>all other dumpers mentioned in this thread

Mike, only you would come up with that but yeah, its very likely.

To me the Ecoboost hasnt proven itself enough yet as far as durability goes since its a new motor. I do see tons of F150’s with it though, identified by the license plate offset to one side to allow airflow to the intercooler. The shit v6 and the v8 trucks have a centered plate.
