The one day i dont hit the water massive waves for jumps and gopro vids

The next day is always rough after a wave jumping session, I’m usually sore all over. I was thinking the exact same thing with the Go Pro. I was thinking about using a headstrap mount but was worried that if it comes off I might not find it in the water or it might not float… I don’t think you can use the floaty door and the headstrap mount at the same time though…

I really need to come up with something to capture days like yesterday.

Drop someone off at the break wall with a camera lol

Too far away for good shots. We went out a little ways where they were really high.

What we need is someone with a ski like yours or a boat that can act as a platform.

I use a gopro with suction mount, you can use a tether going to the steering wheel if you are that nervous of it. mine has yet to move let alone fall off

I’m probably going to hard mount something. Yesterday I was completely airborne, followed by diving completely underwater. I’m not sure if a suction cup is going to cut it.

same suction cup held up to drew’s nova at over 150mph

That’s exactly what I was worried about if I get tossed off at speed or go submerged momentarily I’m not sure the suction cup will cut it. Can you use the suction cup with the floaty door?

Why not just hard mount it with the 3m adhesive mounts as mentioned?

I might try it seeing as how I’ve had one survive 140mph passes on the side of my helmet while on the bike… I’ll put the floaty door on it for good measure too

Put one on my boat works great

Tether it to the ski like you would an ignition key. Tape something that floats to the base mount arm so it doesn’t sink.

I don’t doubt it. I’m no fluid mechanics engineer but water is what, 1,000 times more dense than air? So I’d assume it would take a much lower speed through water to knock it off. Remember the entire hull goes straight underwater with a ski like mine. It’s not like I can put it on a part that won’t be dragging through the water at some point. That’s why I’ll hard mount it.

Ive used the 3m tape on my helmets and such, but like my car i don’t want those base pads stuck to my brand new ski lol

I got the floating back door thing for my go pro incase it falls off the ski…not sure you’d be able to find it floating around with waves like that though haha.

Wear a helmet with a go pro mount. Lol

At least it’s orange though lol

Haha my one friend does since he took a bird to the face at 60 last year.

Well, the fuckme doo has gotten me again…will report back with something good this w/e if I can get a hold of a part that no longer exists…
