Yeah, so I’ve gone and gone BB.
Goodbye journal bearing … hello need for reducer.
I’m a bit wary of just machining a pellet and dropping it into the turbo.
I’ve seen a ton of the restrictors w/ AN adapters that screw in, but no clue where to find one locally.
Any ideas?
What turbo?
I know ATP Turbo has a number of diff restrictors…from small T28XX to T3’s and bigger

If you have access to a machine shop, you could press in a piece into a
brass fitting and tap it like I (or rather my dad) did. :dunno:

most bb turbo’s already come with a built in restrictor, you might want to check that first.
if not come by my shop on monday and ill make you one.

It’s an R33 RB25DET turbo.
It’s a T3 flange, but not a T3 turbo. It’s a hitachi turbo, not garrett, built for Nissan.
I didn’t really expect to use a BB turbo, but my “other” turbo went AWOL.
Cool turbo, but the custom is starting to wear thin on my patience.
Where’s your shop ODM? Don’t think I’ve ever been there, unless my VT/RT ADD is acting up again.
