old oil after change at home

Canadian Tire has some drop bins.

^^^ Phil always has the smartest answers. It’s true, check many of his
other replies. :wavey:

Don’t shops charge you $ to dispose of your old oil? I live near Mr. Lube
so I would just drop it off there.

Some stores that provide the service may hassle you - asking for receipts to prove that you bought oil from them and they may only take a certain amount.

this doesn’t help you JJ. but in Brampton you can take old oil to the recycle place across from the chrysler plant.

You mean I’m not supposed to just dump it in a hole in my backyard?
