yeah, I looked at a glock 19, but it was damn near twice as much as the S&W cause they had it marked down PLUS it had a $50 MIR. I figure it’s a nice cheap and decent starter gun. I’ll probably pick up a glock/sig/H&K sometime down the road. Plus I havent even started to do my christmas shopping and god only knows what thats going to do to the bank account.
take a look at the xd’s as well, although Im a die hard glock guy, the xd’s are really really nice

I think green has that same model S&W. As mentioned, a good starter gun, but I’m not a big fan.

I can’t get a strait answer on this and I have to get mine renewed. When I got mine back in 2003 you just took your application down and they ran your check right there and you walked out with a picture card. Now it seems they are back to their wait 45 days to 3 months shit, drive down there twice once to apply and then to come back and get yoru card.

Its a decent gun Mikey, I had one of these a few years ago. Just make sure you take it apart and clean it often (every 100 rounds or so). Ecspecially the feed rail, the new shell will catch on it if its dirty/not oiled.

yeah I did a little research and heard that the first production models had some issues but they’ve ironed most of them out for these new ones. It was almost half as much as the glock, and I’m sure if I hate it I can sell it for a little less than I paid for it and go for a glock. I was a cunthair away from just saying fuck it and getting one, but I’ve spent too much money in the last week on stupid shit to validate it. :o
