In my experience they have a better feel while shooting the gun. they are safer with the squeeze-cocking mechanism and are all steel.
I love my glock and it will fire every time… I carry a 29 and won’t be replacing it. H&K’s get dirty faster and are more sensitive to junk ammo… and are generally overpriced. I’ve always wanted one though… I like german stuff i guess :dunno:

I’m a Glock man through and through. I do have to admit that the DA trigger on the newer XDs is fucking NICE. I put some rounds through my buddy’s new XD today and I was pretty impressed. I had alot of issues a few years ago with a Springfield 1911 and don’t really trust them completely though.
I always hold GLOCK and SIG in the best regard. Totally quality pieces that will always just work. H&K’s are “OK”, but they’re so expensive. Everything else is somewhere after that.

I looked at the sigma too. For the $$ it was decent, though I was not impressed with the fit & finish of it. I ended up getting a Beretta PX4 Storm…which I thought the quality level seemed to be a step or two above most of the other guns I looked at. I ended us getting it 20% below dealer cost so it ended up costing me as much as the sigma would have. In the end I know a few people that have or had a sigma and most liked it for the $…but when they shoot something else they realize why it is a bit cheaper.
