fucking losers.

I’ll get back to you after work mang

How did you think it was gonna sync corporate email with out a dataplan???

You need a data plan on any other PDA that syncs with corporate email.

doesn’t apple have some sort of proprietary magical cord you can use for free lol

Read the iPhone site on ATT.

There is the PERSONAL dataplan and ENTERPRISE dataplan. Both include internet access and data but the ENTERPRISE is $15 more a month and you need it to be able to use exchange.

ATT that confirm do NOT have it.
Galleria Mall
Sheridan (Tonawanda)

yea those are industry standards for personal and enterprise data plans.

Blackberry FTW!

I just dont get why its more. I have my blackjack 2 syncing to outlook and it falls under my $30 a month data plan

I stand by my previous view.

I got mine and am using it… didn’t really plan on getting it today, but called the Apple store at around 11am and they said they had plenty, so I stopped by with a friend of mine after we had breakfast. I had already sold my old iPhone last month for $250, so it covered the cost of the new one  I just like that I can now be online or checking email while still receiving calls and text messages.

^ yeah, that would be nice.

I stream audio all day to mine from my PC so usually when I get out of work, a few hours later, all of these text and voice mails pop up out of nowhere

Hey Silver, how’s the GPS work?

When you reach a turn does the google maps banner at the top (the part that says “go 1.3 miles on smith rd”) automatically update with the next direction or do you have to select it?

The GPS is damned good in my opinion. It doesn’t work well inside at all, it’ll still give you the big circle (although, much smaller than the previous version), but as soon as I stepped outside it gave me a single dot to identify where I was, and it was damn near close. I was in a parking lot and I was able to count the lines for the spaces, and the dot had me on the correct line.

As I walked across the parking lot, the little blue dot slides across the map seamlessly in time with me. I haven’t tried it while driving yet to see if it updates the directions at the top, but a friend of mine that is here with me right now said that he “heard that it does not update automatically.” I’ll try to confirm/deny for you when I leave here to go home.

Confirmed, it does not update the directions at the top. It also does not reroute you if you take a wrong turn, or decide to go a different route than the one it has shown you. Pretty lame for driving, but neat for walking.

got mine last night and it blows my blackberry away

Thanks for checking on that.

So it’s not a real good option for someone looking for a turn by turn nav. It would still be quite an upgrade for someone like me who normally just prints out the google maps directions.

like previously stated, its not a true gps, no turn by turn, its a blue dot that moves, wow how innovative…

Anyone know a store that has them?

Looking to trade in my blackjack.

Itagaki just got his from the Galleria Apple store.

My crackberry has googlemaps, whats so special about it on the iPod?
