Picked up a dumpster in crafton. Seen a few roach coaches outside along with Haddad trailers all over the place. security gaurd walks out, want to see something cool? Little hesitant I guess. Walks me inside this huge warehouse. Movie props everywhere. fake water well and bedrooms. The actors havent arrived yet and the camera dudes are setting up.
So i get to asking whats the film. Sorioty Row with bruce willis daughter rumer and that chick from star wars. got to see how pampered these actors are with thier own private rooms :nuts:
about 1/8 of their equipment sits in pleasant hills and 1/4 of it sits up behind the oriental gardens on 885 in w.mifflin by the PAT bus garage the other 5/8 of the equipment is in new york city. i worked for them when i was in high school got to drive a **** load of trucks to NYC best job there can be.
work at 5am drive to nyc catch a plane home and home by 6pm. i bet there are 3 movies going on in pgh at this time. i use to work for weavertown towing that did all the vehicle transportations and that was definately fun. sit on the movie set and wait til they need a car moved from the strip out to homestead or where ever.
sounds accurate he is soem time of middle eastern country. he is out of the state about 315 days a year if not more. man works for the money he makes ill tell you that. best place i ever worked. hard work tough hours but puts one hell of a work ethic in you.
