I used to play a lot of poker in the cashino and online, but a year or so I quit because I just couldn’t focus on it anymore. Anyways I’m going to start playing a lot again, but before I head up to the cashino I’d like to play some online again till I can start remembering %s a little better.
I know a bunch were shutdown… are there any somewhat reputable places you can gamble online with money?
there’s no such thing as a completely random program…rivers are continuously ridiculous.
regardless though, i just won a freeroll that entered me into a tourny saturday…which, if i come within the top 108 for, i’m i nthe Sunday $750,000 guarantee tournament, which i’m looking forward to.
by the way, i’m referring to Full Tilt.
i usually just go to the poker room though, play the 1/2 no limit tables…at least once a week.

i feel the same regarding the rivers, but oh well

Online poker is a scam. The best way to make money is to take the 15 min drive to the falls and play in the casino. You make tons more and actual have an edge if you can read players.
Also, you get your money right there when you leave so you arent tempted to toy around with it.
90NA300ZX: I think I see you parked in the garage at Seneca a lot when I am there. I know a bunch of dealers who work the 8-4am shift so I go see them. Is your plate like OMG something?

I absolutely disagree with you. Online poker isn’t a scam if you go into it with a level head and a good understanding of the value of money.
People are always playing stupidly in mid level SNGs ( $5-10 ) because they don’t care about $5. They think they are brilliant and can play 4 tables at once.
They aren’t. If you play well, to your own personal strategy, you can do well online in certain circumstances.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the cashino. I love the atmosphere, the chit-chat, the free ( well not including the tip ) drinks, and the playing- but sometimes you can’t make it there. And some times it’s better to practice your technique at home before dropping $100 to sit at 1/2.
I actully know one person that plays online poker and wins enough money each month to pay their mortage payment, i thought that was pretty awesome :gotme:
i can personally and have made more money online. Tons of more dead money in online poker then the casino’s. I’m starting a online poker website up soon which is going to be pretty cool
