What they could do is just deem any car that isnt registered for the road that is 15 years or older - they could not let back on the road - because that would eliminate a lot of junkers that are sitting and may or may not be put back on - just like the rhd car rule thing ?

This is a classic…Money trully is the route of all evil…Lets look at this in a positive light… shall we… if this was to come into affect our old rust buckets would be pulled off the road and the goverment would see benefits… we would upgrade to nicer cars and insurance would probably go up drastically which would cause an uproar and force the goverment to take a look at these faggot ass companies charging ridiculous amounts for insurance… cause lord knows it’s about time someone gave it to the insurance companies…this would further strengthen the whole environmental blah blah blah since they seem to think cars are the route of this evil… the goverment would simply strike a better deal with the automakers to build more shit boxes and have them close down eventually and we would be back to square one…and yes it’s modelled after the way things are in japan but they fail to factor in the japanese make way better cars than americans…
