Were heading up to Ibaraki Prefecture on Wednesday to collect an R33 GT-R which was just bought. Taking the train first and returning by car. Looking to hit a few mountain passes on the way back.

Yeah the flight sucked. Mostly because with several hours left I got a splitting headache. And with that comes an urge to throw up my wonderful airline lunch, snack and dinner. With all my medicine somewhere in my checked luggage, I held my shrip coctail down with some controled breathing… Not fun.
After watching 4 movies I made myself get out of my seat to take a piss. I had my own personal tutch screen for movies on demand, games, etc. It even had a cool GPS screen that showed where we were, our flight time and speed. Somewhere at 600mph over Alaska was when my head started to pound… All that but no Wi-Fi :tdown:
Went to Nikko today. Train ride was SUPER long. I managed to get some car shots, but mostly it was just pictures today since it was ‘mist’ raining. I spend my time with a camera because I can’t opperate my camcorder with one hand holding an umbrella.
Time for bed. I’d write more but I’m super tired.

Turned out to be a great day. Even with the small set backs that came up.
Ibaraki was a beautiful place. Ton’s of scenery, hardly any traffic anywhere and of course some high quality roads for driving fun. Will defiantly be taking the trip again in the S14.

Will be heading down to Weld Technical Factory friday afternoon, followed by a visit to the Toyota Motosports cafe & museum and finally a trip into Tokyo for some fun. Should wrap up his trip nicely. Just wish he was staying longer. One week is definately a short visit…ahwell!

That’s a classic Nissan Silvia S11. FJ20 with open throttles, cam’s, header and other tuning bits. Mechnical is dead on great but the body is suffering. Original paint with the watanabe’s. The owner owns the yard I rent from. He’s had it since college many moons ago. One of those owners that would simply not sell it, no matter what state it’s in.
