So what made you move to Japan? I ask because of my interest in possibly moving abroad someday. How do you like it there compared to here? How do the people treat you there as far as common courtesy and whatnot?
I’m meeting up with Adam in a few hours and I’ll ask. We have a busy full day ahead of us, but I’ll try
I have a complete harness actually. Its really heavy and doubt Josh could manage to bring it back. If your not in a rush surface mail would be best & cheapest option. Ill snap couple photos on Sunday and PM you there after.
Originally came here on vacation. First place to live was Okinawa. Kinda like a tropical island well south of the mainland. I taught English and got out of that quick. Car business is a long story after that. Regret leaving Canada…na not one bit. To many growth opportunity’s over here to leave.
Couple shot of that R33 we had picked up on Tuesday.
95 model fitted with BBS LM wheels, fully adjustable Aragosta coilovers, Cusco sway bars, Tein front rods & Potenza RE-01R tires. Engine tuning basic. Blitz Spec 1 ECU, HKS dragger exhaust, M’s K&N filters. Pretty much it.
I’ve made that exact car in pretty much every gran turismo, fucking love it
That is the Skyline that made me like Skylines. Minty fresh driver
Finally home. I’m going to need some time to catch up then I’ll post my pics / stories
Can’t wait.
Finally with a little time to spare I thought it would be
nice to add a few more photos from Josh’s trip. Im sure
he’ll have his full set ready some time soon.
Ended up meeting on the Friday afternoon. Took the guys
to this Shopping center called Venus Forte which is located
in Odaiba Tokyo. A very modern area with amazing architecture
every where ever you look. The NHK TV network building would
be a prime example. Not that often you see a bloody ballon like
structure slapped in between two high rise towers.
Venus Forte is not your average shopping mall. Sure it has
all the thrills of outlet style stores, but with that aside, the
real joy is checking out the architeture within the building.
Simply a work of art. Literally feels like you are walking through
a little villa in Rome.
ballin’!
After lunch we headed to the History Garage exhibit. Owned by
Toyota Motor company, this little historical exhibit showcases
many vehicles from years gone past. Including classic Nissan’s,
Toyota’s, Honda’s, Chev’s and even an DMC alumi weapon.
In the back area with a fair sized store front. They had loads
of collectibles from every era of the cars we all love. I could
spend at least a whole day if I had to snapping every single display case.
Few photos from the showroom.
To be continued…
Yeah I’ve been a bit swamped. I have a ton of pics and my video to go over still!
I love old JDM cars.
I want more, more, more…
When I was there they had the AE86 featured because the live action movie was coming out. That was pretty cool. Did they have a special exhibit this time?
how was the language barrier?
That seems like such a cool experiance.
amazing
