Onyx Syndicate / DriftOps ProAm Drift Days for 2008

We’ve added 2 Saturdays to our roster that will be drift only. Visit our Registration Page to sign up if you’re interested in drifting :tup:

These days will be points events in the DriftOps ProAm series;

“This series will give drivers the opportunity to develop the competitive driving skills required to successfully compete on a larger global scale. Winners of the PRO-AM series will receive licenses to compete in the 2009 Castrol DMCC Pro Drifting Series and eventually Formula Drift.”

But you don’t have to have Formula-D aspirations to come out and slide. It’s open to n00bs and pro’s alike :tup:

The first will take place on Saturday, July 12th and run from Noon to 8pm.

The price is $135 per car.

Now I know drifting isn’t big here, but this will fill up quick with all the Canadian guys.

Each day will be at Dunnville Autodrome in Ontario, Canada (a little over an hour drive from Buffalo, NY)

As usual, those registered for these dates as well as detailed information can all be found on our website’s forum at www.OnyxSyndicate.com/Forum

I can’t wait for the rest of the details.

nice, probrably roll up to that.

id like to try this i think. sounds like fun.

I’m interested. Do you know which part of the course will be used and a price?

the only reason dirfting isnt big in wny is because of the lack of support.
If we had a scene (some tracks that supported it with a regular schedual) this would be big here.
the lack of a 1/4 thats actually close is already bad enough haha.

So very well said. If someone was smart and had the money, they’d open a 1/4 track with a mini road course.

Bump for those interested in drifting. :tup:

Well thanks to the locals bitching about noise, we can’t drift at Dunnville anymore. One more thorn in the side of the sport…
