What is the actual purpose of hacking sites?
the purpose is to attack the hosting company not the individual site. They got into the server of the host and changed the index.php pr .html to their page to show the host that there is vulnerabilities in the server. It is commonly not very malicious. This attack was pretty reserved even. They did nothing to any of the other files, and didn’t even mess with any of the code that routs personal data. I expected at least a php include or an email forward, however there was nothing. I did however reload the pages from my local version to ensure safety.
Josh should jump in line like the rest of the subscribers and call the hosting company quite pissed off and tell them that they are obviously not secure, and he wants to know what they are going to do about it. As well as how he is going to be compensated for a very public tackling of the page!

I wouldn’t hack Onxys site…I just think its funny when webhost companies get hacked…kinda like when fire departments burn down…stuff like that.
