Open Seats in Winning 24 Hours of LeMons Car.

I guess this thread title isn’t currently accurate. We are now campaigning a S14 240SX SE. But this is an example of what we do.

Hopefully this will make racing accessible to anyone interested.

We would like to do it pretty close to an arrive and drive, you will likely have to do refueling. Here is some of our history;

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Cost for new drivers is $650 and covers gas, sticky tires, brakes, soggy cold cuts, greasy grilled food, warm beverages. +$250 entry fee ($900 total)

We will discount multiple rentals $100 off 2nd time renting.

For comparison read:
http://forum.chumpcar.com/index.php?/topic/4013-usual-price-on-renting-a-ride/

The wheel to wheel time is about 15 hours so expect at least 3 hours of seat time with 5 drivers. We send the renters out first in the race to try to make sure they get the most seat time. Plus any practice time on Friday (required for the noobs).

*Note for the Mods; we are not doing this for a profit but trying to make this accessible for more people (not trying to lose either). Our consumable items gas, tires, brakes, food, oil, paint and fluids, and “hard parts” are roughly $2200 per event.

2012.5 possibilities, but unlikely:

 so kick ass. Someone will jump on this, unfortunately it will not be me :frowning:

My over zealous rally schedule has consumed my racing budget for this year.

For everyone else - this was a most epic adventure. If you are even remotely interested in wheel to wheel racing, this is a deal and a half. You cannot do real racing for this low of a cost, and have an “arrive and drive” experience.

Nobody wants to beat up on E36s, S13s and AE86s? :eekdance:

Still looking for a 5th for Gingerman although more seat time for us isn’t a bad thing.

The spot is still open! Someone jump on this. Stop being talkers and start racing!

when do you need $ by?

$13 in paint, some shitty foam rollers, and ~100 yards of blue painters tape:

$250 for entry fee ASAP, the remainder guarantees start position, would be nice to get a week before the race.

Anyone? Both cars should be competitive. We need to make a final decision in 1 week and still need 4 drivers to field the 2nd team. This will be a blast.

Awesome! I’m glad you’re still running. Good luck!

i wish i would of saw this sooner…i was at the summit point lemons race.

Why did I just see this now? I absolutely would have.

We’re still rolling, car needs some work now after stafford (aka the demolition derby) but we did set fastest lap.
Keep watching this thread for more open seats (if you are truly interested subscribing to it might be a good idea).
