It is 3-5 September. Same rules as LeMons or Chumpcar. You can google UsedCarRacing to get all the info.

So yeah, same deal as LeMons. Get a $500 car, throw safety equipment in it and… here is the difference;

Used Car Racing actually wants you to know how to race in traffic, understand some fundementals, be safe, BEFORE sending you out on track. Which is not a bad idea. So there is some required classroom Friday, and maybe Thursday.

We’re not going unless we get 3-4 renters.

Yup, I understand the difference. I have a considerable amount of track experience and do not have to attend “rookie” classes. It was good that you metioned it for others who might be thinking of it. There is also a mandatory night driving practice Friday night since this is a “real” 24 hour race.
