$20k/year + benefits + commission
They said average guy makes $40-50k commission = $60-70k
I tried searching google but haven’t found anything negative really…
Anyone ever do a door to door sales job? He said Buffalo’s their best branch
I have sales experience…but door to door seems pretty crappy for having a Bachelors degree, then again, I’ve applied to over 50 jobs and gotten barely any calls.
Be prepared to take all of your self-esteem, and leave it in a box next to your front door when you leave your place every morning. You can have it again when you get home.
When you go to the hotel, they will “hire” you… and then collect your FEE for the demo kit and training… and then your good to go… to make up to 1 million dollars a year bothering old ladies!!!
Those people who go door to door saying they’ll lower your utilities are REALLY creepy. That’s all I know about it. HA. And yeah, door to door with bachelor’s degree. Ehhhh.
Think too that most people that organizations aim to help reduce their energy bills are probably not the most well off people in the area. I would say be prepared to end up in some pretty skeevy areas.
you never know if its worthwhile unless you go and listen to what they say. Maybe shit maybe not you need more info
i know as very successful guy that started selling mag subs door to door and ended up doing very well
The shady part was no one was pitching rate locks before the price spike last year, but when prices were at their peak the guys were bumping into each other going door to door trying to get people to lock, “before it goes up more and you can’t afford to heat your home”.
Shady part was by that point pretty much any analyst who wasn’t retarded was calling the prices a bubble that was bound to pop. And sure enough it did. I still wonder how many people are locked into 2+ year contracts paying those ridiculously high prices from last year because they believed that BS about “helping you lower your bills”.
