out of ides....

Had exactly the same issue with our new standalone system.

Turned out to be that we had the fuel mix correct for idle but waaaay too lean as soon as the throttle was touched.

Have added much more fuel just off idle and the stalling is gone. The motor now revs up cleanly

Plugs are black from previous runs at idle with too much fuel. You may have to put in a fresh set if they dont clear out for you. You’ll know this because the car wont stop sputtering and backfiring during acceleration

Hope this helps

ok so a bit of an update… car got tuned almost all the issues went away.

i still get a hesitation / idle jumps up and down constantly. untill i unplug tps… when i do that idle goes up (but constant) and i get minimal throttle hesitation.

It sounds like the power FC wasn’t properly initialized to me. The first thing you are supposed to do when tuning the PFC is turn the key to the acc on position and check to see on the commander that all the sensors are getting proper voltage. Then you are supposed to go to the etc menu and initialize all data. The downside is that initializing all data basically resets the PFC to stock and will erase your tune.

After making sure everything is good, you are supposed to start the car and let it idle for at least 30 minutes. Next, turn the rear defroster on and wait another 15 minutes, and finally, turn the a/c on and wait another 15 minutes. This initialization process is so that the PFC can learn idle specifically for your setup.

Doing the initialization process properly solves 90% of idle issues with the PFC.
