Newman bought my old 65" Toshiba so I picked up this…
2nd Gen LED driven 61" Samsung RP DLP. The LED means never having to change the bulb so that’s a $200 savings at least every 10 months to a year.

NICE!
price if you dont mind … im looking for a new tv…and the box looks hot :gotme:
Still in box because it got delivered to my work and I still need to get it home.
It was $1749, No Tax (Edison, NJ only), Free Ass Shipping. They gave me a deal on a 3 year extended warranty and upgraded shipping, all for $1999. Abesofmaine.com
It has LED’s? That means it goes faster right? Does it have any stickers?
Of course it has stickers… ![]()
Ricer!
you buy lots of expensive TV’s
i’m really excited to have a TV
You don’t even watch tv…
Are you hooking your computer up to it?
<-- goes to Abesofmaine.com and i think i came
thats a good deal you got… and i think i may have to soon
Hahaha… 1749 is not even close to “expensive” for what’s out there. 60" Plasmas run around $4000+ and LCD in that territory is around $8000.
some 60 inch plasmas are over 10k matt.
i’m only getting it to watch arrested development and curb your enthusiasm.
I was just going by the Pioneer 60" that has all the AVSNerdlingers drooling which is priced pretty well. I am sure you are correct.
I actually found them on Resellerratings.com ( to JayS for the link to that back a few months ago) when I plugged the TV model number in. They have very high marks.
is abes of maine one of those sketchy online retailers?
