overheating..

thats how my system works, i thought it was the same with others. meaning t-stat is stuck closed, no coolant flowing, no hot coolant running to heater core.

it’s happened to me twice.

on a honda the heater core is after the tstat witch means that if you have it closed you will still get heat …the only time no heat would come out if
a) the car is still cold
b)no fluid to heat up
c)car not on

also if there was no tstat the car will still warm up it just takes a lot longer

easy fix right now-- take it out

Yah gm is diff buddy… that is one thing I never understood why they did it like that

But it should be an easy fix!
