Oxygen Sensor signal wire Broken

1990 S13 SOHC

okay, well the signal wire comming from my Wiring harness to where it plugs into the O2 sensor is broken…
well not totally broken but the insulation around it is gone…
now i have no reading to my air/fuel gauge…
i was wondering if anyone has ever repaired this type of a wire…

And my Air/fuel gauge signal wire is connected to the o2 signal wire right before the PCM…

Now with all that said, my car is running rich, you can see the fuel fumes comming from my exhaust…

Please SON help me save money on gas…lol

Any help will be greatly appreciated…

Chaz

Oh yeah sorry for this being so long, just want to help reduce questions

If the wire is broken right at the plug i would just cut the plug off and wire it direct without a plug.

^^^ no its broken farther up the wire…
i’ll try to get some pictures up…

Thanx anyways

Replace the plug, they are cheap.

you repair the wire like any other wire. if the wire is the one not connected to the O2. if it is the one connected with the O2 then you can also just cut and conect some O2 sensors aren’t fixible becasue one wire acts like a breather but on 240’s you don’t have too
