after you wet sand a car with 1500 then 2000 what compounds and pads do you guys reccomend to bring back the shine without making lots of swirls? i do single stage and 2 stage at work but wasnt sure which products are best for this application.

you have to finish it with 30 grit, makes it perfect.

I don’t remember the exact grits, but we would go with a 2500(I think) buffing compound on a wool pad till all of the shine was back. Then we’d would go back with a swirl mark remover on a foam pad to remove all the swirls. Finally, since the car was just finished, we used a final glaze applied by hand.
