how much for the body and paintwork? clear over the white?
Car looks minty fresh. I would have gone with a different colour of wheels, but that’s just because I like a little contrast.
The first 2 pics are the car as it was before the paint job.
It’s a,most done, I get it back tomorrow I hope.
I’m taking the 20’s off and putting the white wheels back on when its done and putting on a big intercooler
I had the bumper cut and modified too, as you can see in the pics
The restoration came in just under $4k, and there is 2 thick ish coats of clear on top of the new paint
Can’t wait to see it in the daylight
re-spray, restoration… they are different things…

No cut and polish, that makes the price go waaaaaaaaay up
And it was a full body restoration
Like most imports, it had a few small dents or bows in the roof from the container,
And the bumpers, and he straightened out the rear quarters, and sandblasted the fender wells,
He fixed about 20-30 small dents or ripples,
There was 60hrs labour into the car before the paint went on,
Took 2 months. He does really nice work, and does up some pretty cool cars there
Mostly old American cars, Novas,chevelles, he’s got a barracuda in there now, and a couple Cameros He’s got a really cool 64 stingray in there too! It’s mint!
Anyways I should get it back tomorrow. Then I can put on some goodies… Like RUCAs a FMIC, strut bars, and turbo back 3" straight pipe. Wooo!
Cool, spending the money to get it done right, some ppl should take notes here…

yes yes yes, starting with swapping out the 20’s for something less rediculous
