Anybody know where a good and affordable paint job can be done? I was looking into painting my 1990 240sx and just wanted some suggestions where to go in the gta.

so how much you talking then $3000? huh $5000,? 10000? i want a honda night halk pearl black paint job how much would that run?
depends how much work needs to be done.
painting door jams? bumpers going to be on of off the car? how much does the paint cost? these are all factors.
id say 3-5k for a good job at a reputable shop.

its common knowledge body work is fairly expensive, $2000 for a good job no matter how you look at it, sure you can get cheaper paint jobs, if you need zero body work and you dont care about orange peel and runs but 80% of the cars on here have rust/dents/other issues, that cost money to fix, generally speaking getting your car painted is pricey, unless you just have $2000 to throw around, and if its so cheap then everybody on here would have nice minty fresh paint, unfortunatly thats not the case
anyways i duno if that was a smart ass remark, but pretty dumb if you cant understand that concept

This topic has been covered many times. Each car will cost a completely different amount than the next. It all depends on the cars condition, amount of prep/repair needed, paint quality, amount etc etc…
see if you can find someone for under the table, thats what it did saved me a boat load. someones buddy did it on weekends for cash. cheapest way and he did do a good job forsure.
In my own opinion the best place in the GTA to paint your car is usually the #1 body shop - AKA http://www.phoenixcustom.ca/
PHOENIX Custom Auto Body in brampton - i have had 4 cars painted there, many of my friends have had their cars painted there - they do excellent excellent work, LIFE time warranty - and they dont half ass anything - which means
- no masking
- no folding back moldings
- no painted tires
- no in and out paint jobs
wait is about a month for a complete job, all the windows and doors must come off aswell as bumpers lips tail lights headlights etc -
anyone who has painted a car and seen paint on the moldings or paint on the tires or anything knows what i am talking about - expect 3 weeks minimum in the shop for a proper job, and expect 3000+ for a good complete job - inside and outside -

- maaco & fairdeal are the cheapest but its a hit or miss, still better than rattle can diy.
- prep & mask it, supply all the paints & get a decent shop to spray it.
- get a good shop to do it all for $$$$
The maaco in north york is top notch. Great guy named wayne runs the shop and knows his shit. I got my ride done there. I didn’t cheap out and it turned out real nice. Check picture thread for pics my car. If you go to get a quote, let them know the guy with the pearl white 240sx sent you. They’ll know what’s up. Hahah
