After this winter I knew that the body of my 95 was starting to get a bit shabby. When I bought the car the rocker on the passenger side had been crushed a bit and the paint that was on the car was starting to show how bad it really was. It also had a nice big crack in the front bumper from when I got hit from one of those small parking lot plows. So I talked with a few people and was recommended to someone to do a full body overhaul. Here is the pictures of what happend (sorry for how many but I think it will help show just how much work is really needed to do this right).
What I had done - The rockers were rebuilt with metal not bondo, dents were removed from the body, 3rd brake light removed for my japanese factory spoiler, body alingment done, bumper plastic welded to fix the crack, body preped for paint. I went with Aspen White Pearlglow which was the factory colour for my car. Beware the base has very low hiding so we had to use (this is before reducing) 4 quarts of base, 2 quarts of pearl and 4 quarts of high urethane clear coat all Dupont (it was about 730 for paint). So there are about 14 coats on the car now. So my total cost for everything which included the body work, the bay rental, the paint, and the guy I had it done by (he has been a body man for 35 years) came to around 2000. I will say this if you want your car to undergo somthing similar PM me I can set you up with him he is great at what he dose and its not some joke. He said if someone is just looking for a paint job you drop the car off to him and you get it back within about 3 days for 1000 (as long as the colour is not somthing wild). Anyways enjoy when I get my camera back I will take pics of the final.
