anyone know the paint shop above brougher’s machine shop on 51? i been breaking my neck every day going past that place looking at the cars in the window.
problem is when i go past around 6am, they are not open. when i come home from work around 7-9 pm, they are closed. i would like to check out a car they have on the showrrom floor before i snap my neck from “road side window” shopping.
i spot a vw rabbit truck on the show room floor that has been converted to rwd v8. also looks like no rear end is in it yet, looks like rear suspension is hanging down like the rear assembly was unbolted–dunno cant tell from the road. i would love to check this car out, and who knows, maybe it could be sold as a shell or rolling chassis. either way would like to see how they did their setup if for nothing more than to give me more ideals.
place does amazing work. its called “pro comp” guy is originally from up here and moved to fl. where he got big and wanted to bring it back home… so here he is. that shit is not cheap at all. i towed a 50’s chevy up there to get paint. basic paint job alone was over 8 g’s and that was body work and primed already completed.
the green 3 window is amazing. seeing it drive on parkway east in the fall was awesome.
I agree…it is pretty cool to see them driving some of those cars around…I work by the clover leaf, and see the mustang with flames on it driving aound pretty often.
kid i work with said they had one lane closed for like an hour while they unloaded a car. it had to of been the red 3 window that is in the show room now.
