No tripod… hell, that was from my un-anchored boat in the middle of the lake. Ian’s right, photoshop (at least cs3 and up) make this idiot proof. Add all the pictures you want to stitch into one project each as a different layer, click edit, auto-align layers. Then edit, auto-blend layers. One quick crop when it’s done and you’re all set. You can see the blend lines in the water if you look for them but still, for the amount of effort (or lack of) I was really impressed.
I’m going to do another one of Delta Lake, the one we stopped at for a quick day cruise on the way home to break up the drive, but I only have about 5 pictures to use on that one.
The second lake we visited, Delta Lake, just north of Rome, NY.
Delta lake actually has a pretty interesting history because it was man made to ensure the Erie Canal would have enough water.
