My job is ok but kinda sucks sometimes and the pay isnt the greatest but atleast Im steadily employed. If something better was to come along Id consider a change.
I wouldnt mind trying to get this job but i’d be losing money driving my truck around. It sucks gas bad. I wish it were something like driving for construction companies. I really would like to be able to fix up a house one day
my advice to you would be look around and see. I’m sure you can find something that you enjoy, and will make a better living on. what do you make like $10 an hour?
Hey now!! let me get this straight u have to be drug tested ? To deliver Drugs???
Or does this just seem funny to me !!??? lol
Im currently making $12 and Im supposedly going to get a raise if/when we take on another account next month.
I havent done any serious looking around in a while.
Im just afraid of failing at a new job and then losing everything if I get fired so thats part of the reason for sticking with my current job. Its really not that bad most of the time but sometimes it does suck a bit.
Is the fingerprinting so they can identify your body after you’ve been jumped for the drugs you’re delivering for $9/hr?
yeah, really… is this is a serious thread?
9 dollars an hour, im assuming this is before taxes… if i remember right thats like 1 dollar and 43 cents after its all said and done LOL
thats no kind of cash dude, after taxes and YOUR FUEL BILL you will not be makin SHIT man…
idk, is it just me or does this shit seem hella whack ? the job sounded lame before i even read the pay and conditions
PM me with more info im looking for a second job.
hmmm i say post more info…
A) - can you carry while delivering?
B) - will they pay for gas?
C) - can’t you claim like 55c per mile on your taxes if you use your own whip? 39c that you are making sounds like an epic waste of time.
THIS
I’ve been doing it for years.
If you get compensation for fuel, then it doesn’t sound like a bad gig. I make a good amount on top of my check for using my own car for work.
thats about 1/2 of the pay that make me remotely consider that job if im paying for gas/car
carry a gun? ummm… they deliver to houses and day treatment programs in somewhat decent communities… no down town albany (except if you count 700 South Pearl which is far past DMV) and a few apartments in Albany… nothing too “ghetto”. So I don’t think you’ll need a gun. But if it makes you feel better apply for the position and ask I guess…
I’m not sure about the gas. You’d have to ask. I couldn’t get ahold of him today.
And yes if you DO NOT get paid mileage you can claim 55 cents per mile on your taxes.
I only use my vehicle if needed. We have 2 vans- one 15 passenger wheelchair van and a 2010 Toyato Siena minivan to drive… so it’s all good.
