I need to partition the hard drive on my new laptop. Previously I have used partition magic but i am wondering if there is something better out there to do it with.
Partition Magic has always worked fine for me.

Honestly get a Ubuntu cd and boot into the live version. Gparted is the best I have ever used for managing partitions.
I don’t have to but I want to. I did some digging and partition magic doesn’t work with vista, but conveniently enough vista has the ability to do it without a 3rd party program.
